Just In, from Director Fred Elmore, April 2006 - My goal this year is to give a keepsake DVD to every Kinawind camper and encourage them to show it to their friends, to their parents, to their Sunday school class, and so on. I believe such a DVD will help to keep the lessons of camp more vivid in the campers’ minds and provide them with an effective tool to help promote camping in general and Kinawind in particular. The total cost of hardware, software, and staff time is about $5000. I am applying for a couple of small grants. If you are aware of grant opportunities, please let me know. The project will also need some private donations which can be sent to "Outdoor and Retreat Ministries" 1309 N. Ballenger Hwy. Flint MI 48504. Please make a note on checks that it is for the Kinawind DVD project.
